Youtube Video: Kids play with paint a get it all over their faces
The video is about a father coming down on his two young boys for playing with paint and messing up the house, and more so, themselves.
He starts with 'Do you think this was a good idea?', which promptly gets a shrug of the shoulders by the two boys who seem flummoxed as to how they landed up in the mess.
The father's following interrogation gets unanimous head shakes, with the older brother taking the lead to respond and often to implicate his oblivious younger brother.
And about 2 minutes into the video (1.42), when the father asks whether his sons' juice privileges should be revoked, the kids look at each other to telepathically agree on a firm 'No', which they express through a vigorous shake of their heads, their faces serious and, of course, dirty.
That's when the father cracks up (1.51) and is instantly rebuked by his older son who wants to know 'What is funny?'.
Well, this should give you a gist of what makes this video a hit (7 million plus views at the time of writing this) - a funny situation where a father is trying to parent his errant sons the 'right' way by threatening punishment for their actions, and how the two guilty-yet-in-denial boys make it difficult for him to be the 'strict' father who can strike the fear of God in his children. Well, in this case, he doesn't.
